Air Tindi operates a daily passenger and cargo service linking Fort Simpson and the Dehcho with Yellowknife, Hay River and the rest of the NWT. King Air, Dash-7 and Twin Otter aircraft are used on this route to maximize passenger comfort and safety and cargo capacity.
Air Ambulance & Medevac
With a fleet of specially-equipped King Air 250 aircraft, Air Tindi provides air ambulance services throughout the NWT 24/7 every day of the year. Our air ambulance team is the largest and most advanced fleet in the North.
Off-strip Tundra Tires
Is your destination challenging to access? With a fleet of Twin Otter aircraft equipped with large tundra tires, we can land on unprepared strips, frozen lakes, and gravel eskers located in the Arctic.
Heavy Lift Short Strip Support
A fleet of de Havilland Canada Dash-7 Combi aircraft each equipped with a large cargo door, roller floor, and seats allows Air Tindi to serve clients who need to fly heavy loads into locations with short airstrips. Our Dash-7s can carry up to 10,000 lbs of freight or a maximum of 46 passengers, or a mix of both.
Remote Operations Support
Air Tindi specializes in air support for remote locations. Wherever you are in the North, if you have a short airstrip or even no airstrip, we can deliver what you need including bulk fuel (diesel, fuel oil or jet fuel), large equipment and bulk groceries.
Floats & Skis
With a fleet of Twin Otter, Turbo Single Otter and Caravan aircraft on floats in the summer and skis in the winter, Air Tindi can fly you anywhere in the Dehcho and the North. The possibilities are endless and include Nahanni National Park Reserve tours, fishing and hunting trips, paddling trips, community travel, remote and exploration camp support, government agency support travel, and remote medical evacuation.
